- Initial home set up – Realtor fees, furniture, kitchen supplies – $2000
- A Van – $8000-$10,000

How we are partnering with God to see His Kingdom come
Pioneering in Galicia, Spain
We are part of the YWAM Santiago de Compostela pioneering effort. The goal of this effort is:
To establish a YWAM missions community that spreads the gospel in word and action both locally and globally and trains others to do so as well.
There are a few areas that we will be involved:
- Media / Communications – Follow us on instagram!
- Specialty Coffee Café & Roastery, Ultra Capulus (Led by friend, Rodrigo)
- Pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago from all over the world
- Alpha/simple church/DBS
Branding & Web Design Ministry
Calvin has been working in this area as a ministry for 10 years and hundreds of projects for missionaries and ministries around the world from Yemen to Mexico.
Where would we be without the bible? without the printing press? the internet? Design and branding in the digital age has incredible potential! Calvin’s goal is always to help organizations communicate clearly and effectively all with the end goal of furthering the Kingdom of God on this earth.
Depending on the size of the organization or project, Calvin gives a discount of 40%-100% off his normal rates.
Language Exchange Ministry
Both Calvin and Camille share a love for languages. To varying degrees, Camille now speaks Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Calvin speaks spanish and portuguese.
By pursuing this passion, a door of ministry was opened to share the gospel! So far one Brazilian decided to get missions training through YWAM and one Italian is now following Jesus.
We have talked to gays, agnostics, believers, non-believers and been able to encourage them in their lives, pray with them and for them and share our faith all from our couch or bed through language apps!
The cool thing is this isn’t a “formal Ministry” but one that we naturally do as we talk to people and learn language. Faith and spirituality always seems to come up in conversations and we share from our heart naturally about what God has done in our lives and who he is.
Coming: Coffee Shop - Business as Mission
Coffee, specifically roasting coffee, has become a passion for Calvin and he has been roasting batches in home roasting machines working on his craft. The crazy thing is God has provided each roasters and each has been better than the last! My current roaster (borrowed from a friend) is made to emulate commercial machines.
Little did he know God was igniting passion a friend and fellow team member of YWAM Santiago, Rodrigo, and giving him a dream of opening a cafe in Santiago de Compostela. He is currently getting training through the Specialty Coffee Association. A dream would be work together and create a place of connection and encounter through coffee.

YWAM (Youth with a Mission) training and community really changed our lives. We saw the power of God, the love of community and the commitment to the mission of God. We continue to invest and encourage training centers and individual leaders and students within the global community of YWAM.
